Archival quality acrylic paints were used over a sturdy stretched, gallery wrapped canvas with a 1/2 inch thickness. The edges are painted to match the front. The back of the canvas is signed and dated 3/5/08

A beautiful high quality glossy UV Protectant Varnish was applied after the painting cured to add additional protection to the painting.

There is no need to frame this piece, it is ready to hang right out of the box. The 1/2" deep sides of this piece are painted to match the rest of the painting. You may, of course frame this painting if you wish as it will fit easily into any standard 11" x 14" open frame.
